It is time to make a difference and have some fun along the way. As an Official Miss Tourism Pageant State Director, you have the incredible opportunity to inspire others and be a guiding light on their journey to achieving their goals and dreams. If becoming your own boss and running your own home based business, then you are in the right place – how cool is that?

Miss Tourism Pageant Organization values hard work, ethical mindset, good moral character and willingness to be all you can for your contestants.

An Official Miss Tourism Pageant State Director's role involves recruiting contestants, promoting the pageant system, and hosting a pageant in your assigned area. A Director is not permitted to offer up any appointed titles. You are expected to support and mentor your queens as they advance to the next level of competition.

The best part? You don't need any previous pageant directorship experience! We've got a Director's Training Program to assist you every step of the way. And don't worry if you don't live in the area you want to direct – we'll work with you to find the perfect fit.

Now, let's talk about becoming a director. You need to be at least 21 years old and conduct yourself in a professional manner consistent with the Miss Tourism Pageant Core Values. You'll also need to pass an official background check to ensure we maintain our high standards.

Regarding expenses, Miss Tourism Pageant directors do "NOT" have to pay a Directorship fee or purchase any franchise and they do "NOT" have to pay a huge fee to send their queens to compete at the Miss Tourism Grand Finale' Pageant in July. They simply purchase our beautiful custom designed crown and sash from our International Office for each of their winners. You'll be responsible for covering venue costs, promotional materials, (promotional materials flyers, business cards, t-shirts, red carpet banners and other printed and digital materials) crowns, sashes, and other related expenses for your pageant. But the upside is; the revenue generated from contestants participating in your pageant will be yours to keep after expenses are paid.

Keeping things Professional: Miss Tourism State Pageant Directors will sign a license agreement ensuring our pageant remains consist across all states. License Agreement is good for one year. This may or may not be renewed year after year.

As for time commitment, it's like any other business – It is a business and not a hobby, the more time and effort you put in, the more rewarding it can be. Many stay-at-home moms love being directors because they can manage most of their business online through social media, email, and websites. Even if you work outside the home, you can still be a director and work on your own schedule.

We know most of your business can be conducted online, from contestant applications to communication, it's all easily accessible with just a computer or a smartphone. But, we also believe in old school mailings, flyers and business materials.

Training? Of course, we've got you covered! Throughout the year, we offer training opportunities and soon will offer director zoom conference calls to keep you updated. There's also a private web page for directors with training printable materials at your disposal.

If you're excited and ready to take on this role, simply fill out the application below, and someone from our team will be in touch soon. We're looking for passionate individuals who take this responsibility seriously and are committed to ensuring all contestants have an amazing experience, will follow our pageant template.

Join our team, and let's change Inspire passion, lead our contestants and influence a generation of community minded individuals together!
