What to Do Next After Entering Miss Tourism
Congratulations—your Miss Tourism journey has officially begun! Now is the perfect time to set yourself up for an amazing year. Start by exploring all the materials we’ve provided—our website, contestant guidebook, (guidebook is on the Queens Dashboard you will need to message Miss Teri for the Password to get in) blogs, and other resources. They’re filled with helpful tips, important rules, and plenty of inspiration to guide you every step of the way.
From there, start planning your appearances. Think about ways you can proudly represent Miss Tourism in your community—festivals, parades, charity events, school programs, tourism celebrations, and media opportunities are all great places to start. Reach out to event organizers, your local chamber of commerce, and non-profit leaders to introduce yourself as a Miss Tourism titleholder and offer your support. Always be sure your activities follow Miss Tourism policies and rules. *Before doing any Press Interview you will need to read the Tourism Press Guide located in the Queens Dashboard.
Every appearance is more than just wearing your crown and sash—it’s a chance to share our mission, build meaningful connections, and inspire others. This is a shared promotion opportunity, not just about one queen. While you represent yourself, you also represent the Miss Tourism brand, so make it a priority to keep our name front and center with yours. Get a calendar to keep your appearances straight. Dress for success, Hair-Make-up- Clothes- Showered-Teeth clean and fresh breath. Always act with Kindness even when others are not being kind.
