MISS TOURISM PAGEANTS
TITLEHOLDER CONTRACT & AGREEMENT
This Titleholder Contract (“Contract”) is entered into between Miss Tourism Pageants (hereinafter referred to as “Miss Tourism”) and the undersigned titleholder (and Parent/Guardian, if applicable), collectively referred to as “Titleholder.”
Miss Tourism is pleased to welcome you as a state or appointed titleholder and national delegate. Holding a Miss Tourism title is both an honor and a responsibility. Titleholders are expected to uphold the values, integrity, and standards of the Miss Tourism organization at all times.
This Contract applies to all activities coordinated through Miss Tourism, including but not limited to local, state, national, and international events, appearances, challenges, and any personal activities conducted while holding a Miss Tourism title during the titleholder’s reign.
Submission of the Miss Tourism registration form and acceptance of a title constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to this Contract and all rules published by Miss Tourism. This Contract is enforceable under applicable state and federal laws.
GENERAL CONDUCT & REPRESENTATION
Titleholders agree to:

Represent Miss Tourism with integrity, professionalism, respect, and positive character at all times

Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the values of the Miss Tourism organization
-
Avoid behavior that may bring discredit, harm, or negative publicity to the organization
Miss Tourism reserves the right to revoke a title if a titleholder fails to meet these standards.
APPEARANCE STANDARDS & DRESS CODE
As representatives of Miss Tourism Pageants, titleholders are expected to maintain a polished, professional, and respectful appearance at all official appearances, events, media opportunities, and when representing the organization publicly.
This includes:

Wearing appropriate attire that reflects professionalism and aligns with the Miss Tourism brand

Following crown, sash, and title usage guidelines provided by Miss Tourism
-
Presenting themselves with poise, courtesy, and respect toward the public, sponsors, leadership, and fellow titleholders
Miss Tourism Pageants reserves the right to provide appearance guidance or request adjustments when necessary to maintain brand consistency.
SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS
Titleholders agree to:

Post a minimum of two (2) times per month on social media related to their title, appearances, service, or Miss Tourism activities

Always post immediately following an event (for your safety) Never let the general public know where you will be.

Share all appearances, challenges, and community involvement in the Official Miss Tourism Group as instructed
-
Use appropriate language, imagery, and tone in all posts related to Miss Tourism
Failure to meet communication expectations may result in warnings or disciplinary action.

Check and recheck your spelling and language used when posting. Miss Tourism Delegates are the premier in the industry and any failure to pay attention to details reflects poorly on the pageant
SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE & SAFETY
Titleholders are expected to use social media responsibly, professionally, and with personal safety and organizational integrity in mind.
Titleholders agree to the following:

Personal information such as home addresses, telephone numbers, or private contact details must never be publicly posted or shared on social media platforms.

Any unauthorized social media pages, groups, or accounts created using the Miss Tourism name, title, branding, or likeness must be reported to Miss Tourism leadership immediately.

All Miss Tourism–related social media activity must include and invite the appropriate Miss Tourism Leaders, unless created by an approved professional (such as an authorized photographer, media outlet, or vendor).

Creating or participating in unofficial or exclusionary pages without leadership knowledge or inclusion is considered unprofessional, misleading, and a violation of Miss Tourism expectations.
These guidelines exist to protect titleholder safety, ensure transparency, and maintain the professionalism, trust, and integrity of the Miss Tourism organization.
ADDRESS SHARING & QUEEN-TO-QUEEN PROJECTS
Miss Tourism recognizes that titleholders may occasionally organize positive group projects, such as exchanging cards, letters, or notes of encouragement. For the safety and privacy of all participants, home addresses may never be shared publicly or on social media.
To support these initiatives:

Miss Tourism provides a private, members-only section of the Miss Tourism website where mailing information may be shared securely.

Access to this information is limited to verified Miss Tourism Queens and approved leadership only.

Address sharing within this private system is optional and may be restricted at any time for safety or privacy reasons.
For contestants under the age of 18, written parent or guardian approval is required before any mailing address may be shared or accessed within the private members area. Parents or guardians may revoke permission at any time by notifying Miss Tourism leadership in writing.
This process allows queens to connect and support one another while maintaining appropriate boundaries and protecting personal information.
CONFIDENTIALITY & INTERNAL MATTERS
Titleholders agree to maintain confidentiality regarding internal communications, policies, procedures, disputes, disciplinary matters, leadership decisions, and any non-public information related to Miss Tourism Pageants.
Internal matters may not be discussed publicly, including but not limited to social media posts, comments, live videos, podcasts, interviews, or group chats outside of approved Miss Tourism platforms.
Concerns or disputes must be addressed respectfully and privately through appropriate Miss Tourism leadership channels. Public discussion of internal matters may result in disciplinary action.
NATIONAL PAGEANT REQUIREMENTS

Titleholders are required to compete at the designated Miss Tourism National Pageant to represent their title

Holding a Miss Tourism title is a commitment, and participation at Nationals is a core responsibility
MEDIA, IMAGE & LIKENESS RELEASE
By accepting a Miss Tourism title, the titleholder grants Miss Tourism Pageants, the Miss Tourism Foundation, and their affiliates the irrevocable right to use her name, title, image, likeness, voice, photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, interviews, quotes, and appearances for promotional, educational, advertising, marketing, and publicity purposes.
This includes, but is not limited to, use on websites, social media platforms, printed materials, digital publications, press releases, advertisements, videos, live or recorded broadcasts, and other media now known or later developed.
The titleholder understands and agrees that no compensation, royalties, or additional consideration will be provided for such use, and that these materials may be edited, duplicated, or distributed at the discretion of Miss Tourism Pageants.
MORALITY & PUBLIC CONDUCT CLAUSE
Titleholders are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that upholds the integrity, values, and reputation of Miss Tourism Pageants.
Any behavior, whether in person or online, that is deemed harmful, inappropriate, or damaging to the Miss Tourism brand may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal of title.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

Illegal activity
-
Public harassment, bullying, or intimidation
-
Hate speech, discriminatory behavior, or explicit content
-
Excessive profanity or sexually explicit material
-
Public behavior or online activity that brings disrepute, embarrassment, or harm to Miss Tourism Pageants, its leadership, sponsors, partners, or other titleholders
Miss Tourism Pageants reserves the sole right to determine whether conduct violates this clause.
Withdrawal Policy
If a titleholder does not fulfill her responsibility to compete at the national pageant for any reason:

A withdrawal fee of $195.99 will be charged to the credit card on file
-
A withdrawal fee of $250.99 will be charged to the credit card on file should the contest witdraw within 30 days of the Live National Event.
-
Withdrawal notice must be submitted in writing
Any State Queen who won her title through a Live State Pageant who withdraws:
-
Must relinquish her title immediately to her State Director
-
Must return any crown, sash, awards, prizes, or scholarship funds within 10 days of withdrawal in the condition they were received.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Preliminary Titleholders competing agree to:
-
Attend all mandatory events during national competition week
-
Remain at the venue through the conclusion of the pageant
-
Be present on stage during all required segments, including post-pageant photos
If crowned a Main Event Worlds Miss Tourism Age Group titleholder, Worlds Miss Tourism Grand age group winner to include the Worlds Ultimate Grand the winner must:

Remain the day following crowning
-
Participate in the official contract signing
-
Attend the first photo shoot and prize distribution
FIRST PRIORITY & PAGEANT PARTICIPATION
Miss Tourism Pageants does not have a non-compete clause. Titleholders may participate in other pageant systems; however, acceptance of a Miss Tourism title comes with the expectation that Miss Tourism will be the titleholder’s first priority during her reign.
Titleholders agree to the following:

Miss Tourism obligations, appearances, challenges, events, and the national competition must take precedence over any other pageant commitments.

Titleholders must ensure that participation in other pageants does not interfere with Miss Tourism responsibilities, scheduling, visibility, or attendance at the national pageant.

Titleholders understand that accepting a Miss Tourism title confirms their commitment to represent Miss Tourism as their primary title throughout their reign.
Failure to prioritize Miss Tourism responsibilities may result in disciplinary action, including loss of title, at the discretion of the Miss Tourism organization.
APPEARANCES & BRANDING
Titleholders agree to:

Dress appropriately for all public appearances as outlined by Miss Tourism guidelines

Use Miss Tourism branding, logos, and titles only as permitted
-
Refrain from representing other pageant systems in a way that conflicts with Miss Tourism rules
