How It Works

The Miss Tourism Scholarship Pageant is accepting directorship applications. These highly motivated individuals could join our team.

CONSIDERATION
You must meet one or more of the following to be considered.
If you do not meet one of these criteria, you will need to complete one of the requirements before entering into contract with The Miss Tourism Scholarship Pageant.

1. Have previous experience directing a pageant, working as an event planner, or successfully owning a business.

2. Have previously competed in a Miss Tourism National Pageant or be the parent of a former contestant.

3. Have served as a Miss Tourism Volunteer, Judge, Sponsor, or Intern.

4. Have been recruited by an existing Miss Tourism team member.

• Directorship positions are a licensing opportunity as an independent contractor. A $1,000 License Fee is due immediately if a license contract is extended to you. License fee is non-refundable and non transferrable for any reason.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Conduct a LIVE State Pageant in the State being licensed that meets all of our requirements, rules, and regulations.

2. Pay the assigned license fee for your State on a timely basis and comply with all requirements listed on the License Agreement, always.

3. Create and maintain a plan encompassing all facets of production, such as marketing, public relations, recruitment, prize package, and titleholder’s travel and wardrobe. This is to be submitted 30 days after contracted is awarded.

4. Each State Director must provide one set of prizes for the Worlds Miss Tourism Pageant. Each Director will be given 3 optionals. 

5. Comply with all employment, labor, and immigration laws.

6. Retain commercial liability insurance listing the Miss Tourism Pageant Organization (“MTO”) as Additional Insured.

7. Develop sponsor partnerships.

8. Promote and maintain media presence for your titleholder.

9. For Branding purposes all crowns and sashes for the Worlds Miss "Your State" Tourism must be purchased through the Miss Tourism Main Office. Cost $155.00 each set. 

10. Prepare your contestants for the Worlds Miss Tourism Pageant and for the responsibilities of being a titleholder.
