Interview Overview: 25% OF SCORE
The interview is your chance to let the judges see who you are beyond the crown. It may be conducted as a panel interview (all judges at once) or round robin style (one-on-one with each judge). Be prepared for either format. Stay confident, be yourself, and speak from the heart!

Why Interview Matters:
The interview helps judges see if a contestant is ready right now to represent the title. Through her answers, they can gauge her ability to handle press, speak clearly and confidently, and represent the pageant's mission. It shows whether she can promote the brand, engage with the public, and be a positive, articulate face of the organization. A strong interview proves she’s not just pageant-ready—she’s media-ready and mission-ready too.

Contestants may wear a dress, pant suit, or jump suit or skirt and jacket. She should remember she is representing a beauty brand and its ok to embellish her clothing some. The judges would like to see how you present yourself in appearances.

Evening Gown Overview: 25% OF SCORE
The Evening Gown competition is all about grace, poise, and stage presence. Judges aren’t looking for the most expensive dress—they’re watching how you carry yourself with confidence and elegance. It’s your moment to shine, showcasing your personal style and how you command attention on stage. Remember, it's not just about the gown—it’s about how you wear it and how you own the moment.

Evening Gown isn’t just about fashion—it’s about presence, confidence, and composure. This phase of competition shows how a contestant carries herself under pressure, how she connects with the audience, and how she presents herself with elegance and authenticity. Judges are looking for someone who can represent the title at formal events, galas, and appearances—someone who walks in and immediately represents the brand with grace. It’s about leaving a lasting impression without saying a word.

All Contestants will wear a floor length gown, She will have 1 minute on stage. This is a glamorous event and embellishments are encouraged.

Costume Competition Overview 25% OF SCORE
The Costume Competition is a unique opportunity to showcase something unknown, lesser-known and special about your area, state, or region. This isn't about the obvious tourist spots—it’s about shining a spotlight on a hidden gem, untold story, or unique cultural aspect that deserves recognition.

Why the Costume Event Matters:
The Costume Event is more than just a fun, creative competition—it’s a chance to show the judges whether you’re willing to put in the effort for every aspect of your reign. By researching and preparing a unique, meaningful costume and delivering a memorized speech, you demonstrate your ability to do your homework and represent your title with thoughtfulness and dedication. It’s about showing that you can be proactive, prepare for appearances, and bring your best to every opportunity, no matter how big or small.

This is a WOW event you want to go big, creative and ostentatious, over the top. Each contestant must prepare and memorize a 30-second speech to accompany their costume. This speech should highlight what your costume represents. Please note: no electronic devices, phones, or note cards are allowed during your presentation.

Judges are looking for creativity, confidence, and storytelling. Bring your costume to life, speak with pride, and let your voice and vision leave a lasting impression. Articulate so every word is understood

Photogenic Overview 25%OF SCORE

Being photogenic isn’t just about looking good in photos—it’s about showing the judges that you are ready for press appearances and that you can confidently handle impromptu moments in front of the camera. It proves you are camera-ready at all times, whether it's a planned photoshoot or an unexpected media opportunity. Judges want to see if you can maintain composure, confidence, and authenticity, making sure you represent the title well even when the spotlight is on you unexpectedly. Being photogenic means you’re prepared for both posed and impromptu media situations, showcasing your ability to represent Miss Tourism with grace.

Why the Photogenic Competition Matters 
The Photogenic competition is an important aspect,  it reflects a contestant’s readiness for public appearances, media interactions, and press coverage. As a titleholder, you’ll be in the spotlight frequently—whether in photoshoots, interviews, or public events—and being photogenic shows that you can represent the brand with poise and confidence at all times. It's not just about looking good; it's about projecting the right image and handling media opportunities with grace and professionalism. A strong performance in this competition proves that you’re ready to be seen and represent Miss Tourism in the best possible light, on and off camera.

Photo must be in crown and sash. You can hold them but they must be present in the photo. Photo may be slightly re-touched, should be clear and crisp. Your  8 X 10 or 8.5 X 11.25 Photos are to be in a photo protector,  place a mailing label on the photo protector and write the contestants name, title and the word Worlds PHOTOGENIC. You will turn in your photos at registration at the pageant.
