WORLDS MISS TOURISM-
Title Holders Safety
The safety and well-being of Miss Tourism Titleholders is a top priority. As visible representatives of the Miss Tourism brand, titleholders are encouraged to enjoy appearances, social media engagement, and public visibility while also practicing awareness, boundaries, and personal responsibility.
This information is designed to help titleholders stay safe, confident, and protected—both online and in person.
1. General Safety Principles
All titleholders should:
-
Trust their instincts at all times.
-
Prioritize personal safety over appearances, content, or obligations.
-
Remember that no appearance, post, or opportunity is worth risking safety.
-
Maintain clear personal boundaries while remaining professional and gracious.
-
Titleholders should attend events with someone who is capable and aware of how to get you out of a situation quickly that feels unsafe.
If a situation feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or inappropriate, titleholders are encouraged to remove themselves immediately.
2. Appearance & Event Safety
When attending appearances, events, or public engagements:
-
Share appearance details (location, time, contact person) with a trusted individual.
-
Whenever possible, attend appearances with a parent, guardian, chaperone, or trusted companion.
-
Create a safe word you can use when you feel unsafe and have a plan.
-
It is recommended titleholders use an alias to protect their identity.

Avoid attending private or unfamiliar locations alone.
-
Confirm event details in advance, including parking, entrances, and exit times.
-
Do not post on social media about the event until it is over.
