The Miss Tourism Legacy Queen Program

 

The Miss Tourism Legacy Queen Program honors exceptional women who have demonstrated lasting loyalty, service, leadership, and dedication to the Miss Tourism Pageant organization. A Legacy Queen is more than a former titleholder. She is someone whose relationship with Miss Tourism has continued beyond one competition season. She understands the values of the organization, supports its mission, encourages other queens, and helps preserve the history and traditions of the Miss Tourism crown.

Being selected as a Legacy Queen is a special honor bestowed by the Miss Tourism Pageant organization. It is not automatically awarded based on the number of years someone has competed or held a title. Legacy Queens are chosen because of the positive impact they have made and the example they continue to set.

What a Legacy Queen Represents

 

A Miss Tourism Legacy Queen represents:

• Loyalty to the Miss Tourism organization
• Service to others and involvement in her community
• Kindness, encouragement, and good sportsmanship
• Leadership and positive representation
• Respect for the history and traditions of Miss Tourism
• Continued support of current and future queens
• A lasting commitment to the meaning of the crown

-A Legacy Queen can lose the legacy title as outlined in the Nancy Sevier--Legacy Contract. 

A Legacy Queen understands that the crown is not simply something she once wore.

It represents a connection, a responsibility, and a legacy that continues.
