Are you READY for this? REALLY?

Let's talk about dreams – the kind that sparkle with stardust and shimmer with possibility. You've just had your crowning moment, and suddenly, visions of

The best photo you can get!!
A PRESS KIT

being a celebrity, gracing glamorous events, and making countless appearances dance through your mind. Well, guess what? That dream is within your reach, and it all starts with you.

Yes, YOU. Your primary responsibility now is to get the word out about your incredible accomplishments and set up those fabulous appearances. The director might have a few sponsor-related events lined up for you, but for the rest of the year, it's all about your marketing efforts.

To kickstart your journey to stardom, let's talk about creating a press kit. It's your golden ticket to making waves in the media world. In your press kit, you'll want to include a press release, a dazzling headshot, a one-page bio that screams "superstar," and an introductory letter from your director on official pageant letterhead. Oh, and don't forget any other supporting materials that showcase your awesomeness.

Your press must be specific to the pageant title you wish to showcase. Discussing other title will diminish the weight this title or your current title holds.

Now, here's the secret sauce – make sure your press kit is available in both electronic and hard copy forms. You'll mostly use the electronic version, but

ITS OK TO BE AWESOME
SHOW ACCOMPLISHMENTS

always keep at least one hard copy handy, just in case. Remember, success happens when preparation meets opportunity. Always be ready to shine.

Your press release should spill the tea about you – your name, age, your new title, and a bit about your personal platform or service cause. Show the world what you did to earn that crown and what winning means to you. And, throw in some juicy info about the next level of competition you'll be conquering.

Oh, and let's talk headshots. Make sure they're crystal clear and high-res – you want to dazzle those who see them. Include a few options on a CD and a gorgeous 4×6 photo in your folder for good measure. Pro shots are usually best. Moms if you are taking the photos, please, please, please use inspiration photos. We are all about individuality but let's not forget... this is an elegant A class event. Do not just throw something together just to get it done.

Your bio should be a glowing testament to your awesomeness – education, honors, accomplishments, community service, all you have accomplished personally and through this pageant or the pageant you represent. And that

AND A SMILE
I MEAN GO INTO THE ROOM WIITH CONFIDENCE

introductory letter from your director? It adds that extra touch of credibility and acknowledgment to your title, while giving insight to the pageant itself.

Lastly, figure out what kind of appearances you want to focus on – parades, fashion shows, speaking engagements, you name it. Decide how many appearances you want to make each month, we want two one fluff and one community service. Remember, the more you do and the more consistent you are the better. Choose how far you're willing to travel, it is up to you, ya know and which events are pure fun and which are serious networking opportunities.

Grab your calendar, mark those dates, and start surfing the web, contacting people, and making magic happen. Remember, this is your moment to shine, so go out there and make it count. You've been given an opportunity with an expiration date, so don't waste a single moment. Go ahead, sparkle and shine, my friends. The world is waiting for you to light it up!

If you are in need of one we will do yours for only $5.00 and $2.50 each revision. World Queens this will be part of your prize package.
