At Worlds Miss Tourism, the answer may be much easier than you imagine.
Whether you live in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin, opportunities are available to begin your journey today. You do not have to wait for a local pageant to appear in your hometown. You do not need years of experience. And you certainly do not need to know someone in the pageant industry.
What you need is the courage to take the first step.

The Midwest has long been known for producing remarkable young women who embody leadership, community spirit, authenticity, and determination. These qualities align perfectly with the mission of Worlds Miss Tourism.
Our organization celebrates more than crowns and titles. We celebrate growth, confidence, communication, cultural awareness, and the impact a titleholder can make throughout her reign.

What If There Isn't a State Pageant Near Me?
One of the most common misconceptions in pageantry is that contestants must compete in a live state pageant before advancing to larger competitions.
At Worlds Miss Tourism, that is not always the case.
In areas where an official state preliminary is not currently operating, qualified contestants may be considered for an Appointed Title.
An appointed title allows a contestant to represent her city, state, heritage, or region while preparing for the Worlds Miss Tourism Finals experience.
This means your journey does not have to wait.
If your state currently does not have a live qualifying event, you may still have the opportunity to represent your area with pride and purpose.
What Is an Appointed Title?
An appointed title is far more than a crown and sash.
It is an opportunity.
It is a chance to begin building your confidence, your platform, your communication skills, and your visibility within your community.
Appointed Queens are chosen by a panel who review their entry form, social media. Miss Tourism Pageants is inclusive and most are accepted, unless there is an issue with the entry or social media. The Judges at final do not know who is appointed or who won a qualifying preliminary.
Appointed titleholders enjoy the same opportunities to grow, learn, participate in challenges, complete appearances, and prepare for finals as contestants who qualified through a live preliminary event.
Most importantly, appointed titleholders it's what they do with their title.
The question is never:
"How did you receive your title?"
The question becomes:
"What did you do with the opportunity?"

Today's Miss Tourism queen is not simply someone who appears on stage for one evening.
She is a spokesperson.

State and regional directors play a vital role in identifying future queens, creating memorable experiences, mentoring contestants, and helping expand the Worlds Miss Tourism mission.
