Become A Miss Tourism Pageant Director

Start Your Official Miss Tourism State Pageant

Do you love pageantry, leadership, community involvement, and helping contestants grow in confidence? The Miss Tourism Pageant Organization Directors Program gives approved directors the opportunity to operate an official state pageant connected to the Miss Tourism brand.

This is more than hosting a pageant. It is an opportunity to build your own beauty business while helping girls and women gain confidence, represent their communities, and begin their Miss Tourism journey.

Your Very Own Beauty Business

Miss Tourism  Directors operate as independent business owners. Directors are not employees of the Miss Tourism Pageant Organization. They are responsible for operating their  pageant professionally, following the official director guidelines, and representing the Miss Tourism brand with honesty, loyalty, and integrity.

Approved directors may organize their own city or state pageant, select their venue, set their event date, choose judges, work with vendors, collect sponsorships, sell program ads, offer optional awards, and build their city or state pageant experience.

Miss Tourism does not collect city or state pageant contestant entry fees, sponsorships, ticket sales, vendor fees, program book ads, or optional award income. Those opportunities belong to the state director.

Director License Fee

The Miss Tourism State Director License Fee is $1,000 per state.

The Miss Tourism City Director License Fee is $800 per city*

Payment arrangements may be set up. Each payment is non-refundable.

The Miss Tourism Organization will not accept appointed titleholders once the License Agreement is signed and turned in. This means if you do not follow through, contestants may miss an opportunity to enter as an appointed titleholder to attend finals, and this why payments are non-refundable.

This fee is non-refundable and includes:

City, State Pageants and Appointed Titles

Directors may host a live city or state pageant, appoint titleholders, or use a combination of both, depending on their state program needs.

If a director appoints titleholders, a crowning ceremony is required.

A professional headshot of each titleholder must be submitted to the Miss Tourism Pageant Organization within 72 hours of the crowning event. Whether Live Pageant or Appointed.

All city, state pageants and appointments must be completed by the required deadline. For example, contestants attending the 2027 finals must complete their state pageant or appointment process by December 2026.

Contestant Registration

All contestants must register through the official Miss Tourism Pageant Organization website.
