Coming Soon: Thank You for Your Patience, Love, and Support

Some seasons ask more of us than we expected. They stretch the calendar, test our patience, and remind us how much kindness can mean when life does not go exactly as planned.

Soon, things will be back to normal. I also know that many of you have been waiting, wondering, checking in, and offering support in ways that have touched my heart deeply.

As a Director, I carry many responsibilities. I think about deadlines, details, messages, packages, schedules, and, most of all, the people counting on me. I think about my queens and everything they deserve. I think about the promises I have made and the joy that comes with seeing everything come together.

This update is simply to say thank you, to let you know I have not forgotten a single thing, and to share that I have decided, no matter what happens, I will be home by October 1st so I can get things in the mail for my queens.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for your love.

With a grateful heart,

Teri

Your kindness has carried more weight than you know

There are times when a simple card becomes much more than paper. A letter can feel like someone sitting beside you. A kind message can steady the day. A meal gift card can remove one more thing from a tired mind.

I want to take a moment to say how much those things have meant.

To everyone who sent letters, thank you. I have read your words and held them close. Some made me smile. Some made me tear up. Some gave me the little push I needed to keep thinking ahead, keep planning, and keep trusting that the delay is not the end of the story.

To everyone who sent cards, thank you for pausing your own busy day long enough to say, “You are remembered.”

To those of you who sent meal gift cards, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has touched my heart, that you saved the address, remembered and sent a meal gift card. And yes, these were the best. Food is practical, but it is also comfort. On days when my energy is limited or the normal routine is not possible, having a meal covered is a true gift. It is one of those kinds of help that may look simple, but it makes a real difference. To my friends who brought food to me personally Thank you for taking time from your own schedule to show up for my family!

Please know this clearly: I appreciate every bit of it.

Being a Director means carrying the details and the people

When people see the finished result, they often see the crown, the sash, the smile, the photo, or the special package arriving in the mail. Those moments matter. They are beautiful. They are worth celebrating.

But behind those moments are lists, names, mailing supplies, correspondence, planning, follow-up, and care. There is the work of making sure each queen feels seen and honored. There is the work of keeping promises, even when life interrupts the timeline.

That is the part I have been thinking about most.

I know things have not moved at the pace we all hoped. I know waiting can be hard, especially when people are excited and looking forward to receiving something special. I do not take that lightly.

My goal has always been to give my queens the attention they deserve. I do not want to rush through something that should feel meaningful. I do not want anyone to feel forgotten, because no one has been forgotten.

The delay has been difficult, but it has not changed my commitment.

October 1st is my line in the sand

I have made a decision. No matter what happens, I will be home by October 1st so I can get things in the mail for my queens.

That date matters to me because it gives everyone something clear to hold onto. It also gives me a firm point to work toward.

I am not saying everything has been easy. I am not pretending there have not been challenges. But I am saying this with sincerity: I am determined to move forward.

Coming home by October 1st means I can return to the things that need my hands and attention. It means I can gather what needs to be gathered, prepare what needs to be prepared, and start getting packages where they belong.

It means I can get back to the work that matters to me.

No question this is a very difficult season. And I want each of you to know

that you matter.

I want families to know that their patience has not been taken for granted and will be rewarded.

I want everyone who has encouraged me to know that your kindness has helped make this next step possible.

Patience is a gift, and I do not take it lightly

People often think encouragement needs to be big or dramatic. In truth, some of the most powerful encouragement came in this:

A short message.

A card in the mail.

A “thinking of you.”

A meal when planning one feels like too much.

A little grace when something takes longer than expected.

That kind of patience is a gift. It gives a person room to breathe and still feel supported. It says, “We understand. We are still here.” And I will be back so I can be there for you too.

AND that is what many of you have given me. My life back when things have felt hopeless.

Encouragement matters because it can change the tone of a day. It can turn worry into hope. It can make a hard moment feel less lonely.

Love matters because it reminds us that we are more than our delays, our circumstances, or our unfinished lists.

That is why I wanted to write this update myself, in my own words. I did not want to simply say, “Things are coming.” I wanted to say thank you for the way you have waited.

There is a difference.

Soon, things will feel normal again

I am looking forward to my old normal.

I am looking forward to being home, getting organized, and making progress. I am looking forward to seeing mail go out. I am looking forward to knowing that the queens who have been waiting will soon have something coming their way.

I know some of you may have wondered when things would shift. I understand that. A clear update can bring peace of mind, and you deserve that clarity.

So here it is again, plainly and with hope:

Soon, things will be back to normal. I will be home by October 1st, 2026

That is the plan. That is the promise I am working toward.

Gratitude is the message I want to leave with you

When I think about this season, I do not only think about what has been hard. What may be ending but because my queens I think about change and new beginnings I think about the people who showed up.

I think about the queens who have continued to matter to me every step of the way.

That is what I want to carry forward. Not just the stress of being delayed, but the gratitude for being supported.

If you have sent a letter, a card, a meal gift card, a kind word, a prayer, or a thought my way, please receive this thank you. I may not have been able to respond to everything as quickly as I wanted, but I have felt the love behind it.

Sometimes the people around us become the reason we can keep going. Sometimes their patience becomes a soft place to land. Sometimes their encouragement becomes the reminder we needed.

That has been true for me.

Thank you again, truly.

Teri
